That You Choose To Be

Many humans are living unconsciously, it is amazing to be an awakened human, looking back at my own life and looking at a whole lot of people in the world and seeing a human form of robots. We’re born, we are brought up to follow a certain way of life. Yes, there is an agreement between humans which we call laws that allow us to live on the most part safely and on a large part harmoniously. Then we are taught and educated in certain subjects, some which will help us live and communicate with each other, some we are interested in and some we learn regardless of our interest or passion. Yes, we are asked if we’d like to play a sport or learn a musical instrument, sing, dance etc. But, for most of us, these passions seem to be a small part of our lives growing up. We are brought up on the most part using our minds, are brought up with our parents, teachers and carers beliefs and are very rarely invited to just take a breath, be with that, and ‘feel’.

Most people want different things in life and say or think things like, ‘oh, I’d like that’ or ‘I want …..  They don’t make a ‘Conscious Choice’

Here are a few simple steps that can change your life:

Conscious Breathing

Being Conscious is simply being aware.

Do some Conscious Breathing everyday. Even if you start with just 4 conscious breaths twice a day. After a while you may choose to consciously breathe for longer.

Be aware of your breath and where it is going, Breath Consciously, in through your nose, down the back of your throat down past your chest and then take that breath all the way down to your belly, blow your belly up with that breath. Stay in the present moment, in the ‘now’ moment. This is not meditation, it’s ok to hear what’s around you, feel what you are sitting or standing on – that is in your now moment.  If you find your mind wondering, come back to following your breath, listen & feel, these are all in your now moment.

Choice

When you want something, choose it, make a ‘Conscious Choice’ in the ‘Now’ moment – ‘Breath’ that choice in, ‘feel’ it, be conscious of that feeling in that moment. Then, let it go, do not try and control it, allow it to manifest. When, where, how or why…. simply doesn’t matter. Just let it go and allow it.

I have found if I do not feel my choice, it just stays in my mind and does not come to fruition. Take the time to feel your choice, if you can’t feel it, maybe it’s just from your mind, not your heart. Make a new choice, it’s not money, money may buy it – just go back to the basic of  ’your choice’.

Don’t forget to choose to live:  Conscious Breath – Now Moment – Choose Life.

Keep it Simple

Do not limit your choices – if you are choosing a convertible car, simply choose it. Don’t start specifying colour, make, model, when, where etc, that is limiting your choice.

Take a breath, feel your choice and choose it. Then let it go. ….. Simple

Create

It doesn’t have to make sense – have no expectations of the outcome.

When you create, you can easily get out of your mind and naturally stay in that now moment.

It doesn’t matter what you create, just enjoy whatever it is, get out of your mind and make it yours.

If your passion is cooking – cook from your heart, add something extra to a recipe or just go with your feelings to create something totally different. It really doesn’t matter how it turns out. How do you think ‘Play-Doh’ was created.

If you enjoy painting – paint from your heart, not your head, enjoy, just go with the feeling. (Not your emotions – emotions are from the mind). Take a breath and go with ‘The Feeling from within.’

Drawing, writing, photography, acting, music, singing, building, jigsaw puzzle just create whatever you choose in the moment.
